Reconciliation
Our Year 3 children, who are baptised Catholics, are invited to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession) on Saturday 21st March 2026.
In preparation for this next step in their faith journey, the children will complete ‘Heart Speaks to Heart: the Gift of Reconciliation’ in school in the weeks leading up to this – all children will take part in these lessons as part of our RE curriculum. This is a resource designed by the Leeds Diocese to explain the First Sacraments in an engaging way, using charming stories and fun activities.

First Holy Communion
Our Year 4 children, who are baptised Catholics, are invited to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion on Saturday 20th June 2026.
In preparation for this next step in their faith journey, the children will need to complete ‘Heart Speaks to Heart: the Gift of Holy Communion’. This is a resource designed by the Leeds Diocese to explain the First Sacraments in an engaging way, using charming stories and fun activities.

Confirmation
Our Year 6 children (who are baptised catholics) have the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during the Autumn term. This special mass, led by Bishop Marcus, will take place on Wednesday 26th November at 7pm at Leeds Cathedral.
There will be a series of lessons in school based on the Year 6 RE curriculum and additional resources from the Diocese of Leeds.
The children will need a prayer sponsor for their Confirmation, who will sit with them during the mass and stand with them whilst they are confirmed.
